Hello friends and have a great Tour Championship week! I hope you’re all well, and if you’re not, maybe this dashboard by Collin Morikawa will help.

A six followed by a 10?! It happened via a four-putt followed by the 11 of two in the water on the 12, and it is a good reminder that golf is really hard and sometimes the pros are like us.

Koepka’s wedding socks

So much has happened in the world of golf that we’ve had the privilege of forgetting the odd beef Koepka and DeChambeau once had. Or do they still have it? I thought that was all behind us until Koepka’s wedding photos came out earlier this week and saw the socks he wore to the altar. Interesting enough that Koepka included Bryson in his big day a bit!

I thought we left that beef behind when Koepka and DeChambeau hugged at the Ryder Cup! Then again, the hug could have been forced by JT. Anyway, with all the drama from the PGA Tour and LIV, I think the time has come to end this feud.

JR Smith and Rory catch up

I can’t often relate to professional athletes, but I can somehow relate to JR Smith in this video. He’s in McIlroy territory and probably trying to play it cool while chatting shop with one of the best in the world!

Everything seemed to be going well until Victor Cruz intervened and asked Smith if he ever made an ace. Friends, is there anything worse than one of your friends tweeting at you when you’re trying to make a good impression? Many say it’s fair that Smith threw the bird at Cruz as an answer.

Family time and Fowler’s left-handed swing

We’ve been blessed with a fair amount of Rickie Fowler content over the past week, starting with this video of him and Tiger heading to the exclusive gamers-only meeting in Wilmington.

Oh, what I would have given to be a fly on the wall for this car ride.

Then we got to see Fowler’s left hand swing, which to no one’s surprise is still 20 times better than my right hand swing.

Then we have the Fowler Family Getaway (to be fair, it could have been a staycation. Hard to say!), which looked lovely. With parents like Allison Stokke and Rickie, I can’t wait to see what sport Maya Fowler will become incredibly good at over the next ten or twenty years.

And finally, we have a date night position. Here at Rogers Report, we thoroughly enjoy the couples content of the tour, and this is no exception.

It’s also worth noting that this could be the couples dream Instagram photo. The background is spectacular, the golden hour lighting is spot on, and Rickie and Allison’s outfits are spot on. Kudos to whoever captured this image.

Healthy content of the week

Fans turned out in droves for the BMW Championship last week, especially Bay and Killian, who each made their mark on the event.

Bay created some very inspirational cards to give away to a few players, which we got to see after Justin Thomas and Jon Rahm shared the notes to their Instagram stories.

JT’s note read the following: “To whom I give this: I wish you the best of luck in your golf adventures!” You have been chosen by the universe to play golf. The reason you are here is to change people’s lives through golf! You inspire thousands if not millions of people around the world! If you ever feel sad or want to give up, things will get better! Don’t get distracted by fans shouting things like mashed potatoes or stepping into the hole. Focus on yourself and you will be fine!

It’s awesome ? Such a moment of well-being. And Rahm’s note included a similar message that ended with, “Life is like a tough golf course with lots of obstacles. But even if the course is tough, that won’t stop you from winning!

Also, shout out to Bay for being an awesome artist. Then we have Killian who met his hero on a practice ride.

Perhaps my favorite moment of the whole week was when Killian stuck it, five feet in front of his hero. You can’t make this stuff up, folks!

Phelps and JT…bathing?

And last but not least, we have this Justin Thomas x Michael Phelps collab that I’m not sure what to think of! Yeah, yeah, recovery is important, but I keep wondering who filmed this objectively funny video.
