Classic Edition uniforms, new field design, retro products and More featured birthday celebrations

WASHINGTON DC – The Washington Wizards unveiled their campaign for the 2022-23 season celebrating the team’s 25th anniversarye anniversary since rebranding to Wizards in 1997.


To commemorate the season, Washington will unveil its new Classic Edition jersey highlighted by the white, blue and bronze uniform. The Wizards will also unveil a newly designed field in the same style that will be used alongside the Classic Edition jerseys in select games throughout the season. The team will also put a new spin on the classic blue and bronze colorway that will be used on the team’s digital platforms, throughout the arena on game night, and on signage throughout DC.

The Wizards’ Classic Edition ’90s-inspired retro jersey features video featuring highlights from the franchise’s past 25 years, past and present talent, and an up-close look at the new uniforms.

Washington will also recognize the motivation for the team’s 1997 name change and will continue to raise awareness and funds for organizations that combat gun violence in the nation’s capital. During the 2022-23 season, 25% of all Washington Bullets on-site apparel sales will be donated to the Alliance of Concerned Men (ACM), an organization dedicated to promoting understanding, peace and justice. harmony.
